Candle Care Tips
To get the most out of your candle and keep things safe, follow these simple tips:
First burn = most important
Let your candle burn long enough the first time to melt the wax all the way to the edges (usually 2-4 hours). This prevents “tunnelling” and helps your candle burn evenly every time.
Trim your wick
Always trim your wick to 5mm before each burn. This reduces soot and keeps the flame steady.
Keep it clean
Make sure the wax pool is free of debris like matches or wick trimmings to avoid flare ups or uneven burning.
Burn safely
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from pets, kids, curtains, and anything flammable.
Only burn for 3-4 hours at a time to preserve scent and prevent overheating.
Stop before the bottom
Stop burning your candle when there's about 1cm of wax left in the jar to avoid overheating the container.
